In this context, we are building a new product called Humane Club — a subscription service for independent media, academia, think tanks and small businesses to help them build their digital presence.

Role

We’re looking for an expert PHP/ WordPress developer to join our development team.

What do you get? You will learn how to build a responsive, modular frontend system for consumer-facing sites.

What you should have? 

• Hands-on experience in developing custom WordPress plugins at scale. In-depth understanding of WordPress core, including actions, filters, hooks, custom post types, taxonomies, custom content type.
• Solid understanding of databases, PHPMyAdmin and hosting.
• Knowledge in WordPress security and optimization
• Experience building moderately complex websites or applications using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Progressive Web Apps and Javascript.

What do we do? Together, we will create a scalable, robust, and reliable backend for Humane Sites.
