What, Why

A table is the classic database view. Tables, despite their seemingly simple nature, can be one of the most effective data visualization tools in your toolbox. Their ability to host a different “data type” – words, specific numbers or bar charts – in each cell makes them very versatile. Our tables are feature-rich and fully responsive, meaning they will adapt to different screen sizes.

How

  • Name and describe the view: add a name and the description to explain your user what is the view all about. This will be shown on the site inside the dropdown when user switches between views.
  • No of rows per page: this is a fundamental design decision when it comes to tables, since you can only allocate so many rows to a page. After that, the user will have to flip through pages to look at the remainder of the data.

Choose which columns you want to show in the table. For numeric columns, you can also choose to show percentage bar.
