As a subscriber, am I giving away my audience?

No. Your primary objective is to give value to your audience. By aggregating “the right” articles and events for your audience you are establishing yourself as a destination on the topic. Additionally, you can organize all incoming articles into your own taxonomy so your audience can find them easily.
