Mix-n-match content like you would songs with Playlists

Surface content and products on the fly by mixing-&-matching categories, formats, tags, authors.

We hear good songs even decades after they were released. Moreover, each person’s context determines which songs they will listen to and in what order. People have different music choices when exercising, when on a date, and so on.

Yes, our homepage almost always are sorted reverse chronologically. Use playlists to sort posts into any order. Playlists are ideal for content that adds up over time: courses, series, tutorials.

How do I use it?

Let’s learn from Audible. Audible is a platform that sells audiobooks. Like any other library or bookstore, they organize their books by genre, sub-genre, authors, year, ratings, language, etc. Yet, when the anti-race riots broke out in the United States in May 2020, Audible was able to quickly curate a playlist of books on the topic. This is possible with technologies like playlists.

Can I pin the most important content in a playlist?

Yes. Pin those articles on top of your playlist with the highest probability of attracting and engaging the audience. To do the same, edit a playlist, go to “Pinned Posts” and select the pages or posts you want to pin.

Here is how it will look on the website.

Can I block certain content to appear on a playlist?

Yes. Edit a playlist, go to “Blocked Posts” and select the pages or posts you want to pin.

Can my audience see content within a playlist?

Yes. For example, all content in the latest playlist in The Humane Club’s homepage can be seen in https://humane.club/p/latest To find public pages of your playlists, click on Preview.
