Why should everything be a cover image, headline, and link? That’s boring. I love what Amazon Prime has done with their listing page. Hover over a card and it shows the trailer then and there.

There was another interesting interface at Basecamp. They showed a stack over photographs to display what is lying inside in their customer stories page.
