Increasingly, many content sites are behind paywalls. Hence, LinkedIn has started showing if the article could be paywalled. This helps users choose if they really want to click on it.
Here’s why: Would you watch a sports match without knowing which teams are playing and what’s at stake? Similarly, why should readers click on an article with incomplete or false information? A responsible platform will allow users to window-shop content, helping them decide what to click on.
